We Love Cody Sheldon

Here is the stupid sing-off that Cody Sheldon had to take part in. The song Cody is singing is by Gavin Rossdale - Love Remains the Same. Incredibly stupid! Of course American Idol pitted two guys who became friends during Hollywood Week! What a shame! It was good to see Cody sing again though. Not that it was at all realistic in what a professional singer would have to go through. We miss you Cody!

Cody had to do a “sing off” against Alex Wagner Trugman and then the judges chose Trugman. This really doesn’t have anything to do with the way singers perform. Singers rehearse… singers know what they’re going to be doing. And then this morning Fox announces that although Joanna Pacitti was chosen to go through to the final 36… well, today she is disqualified and they’re putting Felicia Barton through. I can’t see how anybody would think this was fair. If they rejected Felicia and it came down to a sing off between Cody and Trugman, doesn’t that mean that Cody should have been the one who got added back in.

I’m really disappointed in Paula and Randy. Anyway, we hope to see Cody again in the future, but for now here are some other possible winners. Adam Lambert, Matt Giraud and Lil Rounds.

The rumours are flying around right now about who has made it to the Top 36. Cody Sheldon’s name is obviously one of the names that has bee thrown out there again and again. We should probably all take a deep breath and relax. Cody will make it through. Just cause we haven’t been seeing him perform over the last couple shows doesn’t mean he isn’t doing great. Don’t forget what Hollywood week is really about (Showing all the drama).

Well as usual American Idol used Group Day to show everyone the freaks in this competition. Like Tatiana and Bikini Girl. We didn’t get to see Cody perform again and I am a little disappointed. We know he got through though. There is a really short clip of him jumping around with another member from his group (Kai Kalama and some other girl). Oh well!

On February 11th we get to find out the Top 36, and I for one can’t wait. Maybe we get to see Cody Sheldon perform again and maybe we won’t. Either way is fine, because there is no way he won’t be in the Top 36. Once the real show gets going we can expect to see lots of Cody. He is only 17, but he has some serious talent! Vote for Cody!

Check out this video! Cody Sheldon talks about a car accident that he was in with a buddy of his named ‘Josh’. Wow, that is scary I am glad he was ok.

The thing that impresses me most about this video is that he took the time to let other people know about the hazards of not wearing your seatbelt. I am pretty impressed by that. Most people would just be happy they are ok, and be done with it. Cody felt he should try and warn people about how dangerous it can be to not wear one.

Well too bad we didn’t get to see Cody perform in the first round of American Idol’s Hollywood week. No worries though we’ll get lots of time to see him in the future. Cody did get through, but unfortunately we don’t know what he sang. We luckily managed to catch a couple glimpses of him hanging out in Hollywood.
